- Islamic Class: Aqeedah (Islamic Creed)

The focus of the class is on details surrounding the basic components of Islamic creed. Topics include the definition of God, the existance of Allah (sw), his Attributes, his Powers, the relationship of the servant to God (and vice versa), and other discussions that deal with Allah (sw). All is welcome to attend!
- Quranic Vocabulary: A basic Understanding of the Text
Saturdays (begins Jan. 14th 2012)

This short course teaches people the common basic Quranic vocabulary, so that people are able to recite the Quran and understand it simultaneously without the need to refer to the translation all the time.The course will be completed in 9 weeks, every class will be 75 mins long.The course consists of Surah Al-Fatihah, the last 6 Surahs, parts of Salah (prayer), besides basic Arabic Grammar. Throughout these selections, almost 100 words of the Qur’an are taught which occur around 40,000 times in the Qur’an (out of a total of approx. 78,000 words). That comes to around 50%. (Theoretically, you will end up recognizing and understanding almost half of the total words on each page of the Qur’an.)" Brothers and Sisters both welcome.
- Sisters Tajweed Course: Basic components

This short course aims to teach the basic rules and foundations of Quranic recitation. Topics and discussions include (but not limited to): enunciation of letters, basic branches of recitation, Ahkaam Nun Sakinah wa'tanween, Madd, Tafkheem, Tarqeeq, and many more. This class is limited to sisters only.
